2010 Los Angeles Dodgers Team Preview

The Dodgers had the best record in the National League last year before losing to the eventual champion Phillies in the playoffs.

The pitching staff is solid, but bizzarely Vicente Padilla was handed the opening day role (seriously). Hideki Kuroda and Chad Billingsley are solid starters and I look for Clayton Kershaw to break out this year. The bullpen is anchored by the imposing Jonathan Broxton.

The lineup is solid and returns C Russell Martin, 1B James Loney, and outfielders Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier.

The Dodgers have lost a little talent and have ownership problems hanging over their head, but they will be a factor in the NL West this year.
