2010 Boston Red Sox Preview

Once again the AL East will come down to a battle of the Evil Empire Yankees and The Red Sox. The Sox have improved their team (especially on defense) and as always will rely on their strong pitching staff.

If Big Papi doesn't stumble out of the gate like he did last year they should be right at the top of the standings from wire to wire. Adding Mike Cameron and moving Jacoby Ellsbury to left field as well as the addition of Marco Scutaro at short should help solidify shaky defense from SS and LF last year.

The starting rotation and bullpen have very few holes as always and it would truly be shocking if they don't contend.
